Cool, I didn't realise how green pythons could be. It obviously helps with his camouflage, I couldn't distinguish him on the thumb I clicked on. Nice work, I like the positioning of the snake, in his coil. I also like the python's cool pattern on its skin. Nice snap! :)

It was at Singapore Zoo and I was very close. It was very cool. They had it out on a log display thing and the guy let me come up close to get a photo since snakes don't worry me.
Glad you like it. It's one of my favourites.

Nope, special display with a keeper, he was coiled over a tree branch. They like natural habitats and giving people a chance to interact with their animals at Singapore Zoo. I had a chance to feed a manatee there also. I sort of don't like zoos either, but this one is pretty good, better than the Guangzhou Zoo near where I live at the moment. All cages - yuck.

Awww, what a sexy lady. =D I love snakes, they're so fascinating. Where did you take the picture? You don't have the snake at home, do you?
I love how the shot concentrates on the snake entirely, there is nothing on it to disturb. With that comes this great reduction of colours, and the detail of the head is very cool. Are it's eyes really that green or was that edited? I thought their eyes were normally more yellowish.

What you see, is what you get. No manipulation other than cropping. It was an emrald boa at the Singapore Zoo. Shame I don't have one at home. I like reptiles. Glad you love it :-)

Very cool. I love reptiles too. =P I just don't like to feed the snakes, that's why I don't have one at home.
